In DDoS, the malicious attack is done by a distributed system. It means at the same time, multiple packets are attacked on our site.
Due to this, the unexpected traffic jam is unable to allow the regular traffic to its destination. Although there are multiple types of malicious attacks that are discussed below.
1. Volumetric or Network Centric Attack
2. Protocol attack
3. Application layer attack
