Best Answer: You can take the 2 together, but what i would try and do is to get in a schedule where you take the narcotic first and then 1 hr later take the zanaflex. This is what my dr had me do and the reason is because narcotics can cause a withdrawal effect and the zanaflex helps to ease that....
